Async-first. The calls matter, but most months the questions between them matter more.
- Two 45-minute calls a month, in evenings or at weekends
- Async questions by email or a private chat channel, answered the next business evening
- A review of one artefact a month: an architecture diagram, a design doc, a CV or a portfolio
Cancel any time. No notice period, no minimum term. Price includes VAT.

Twenty free minutes to check I am actually the right person for what you need.
Step 3 of 3

If we both say yes, I send a payment link and we book the first two calls.

What I don't take on
- I do not work with my employer, with any company in its group, or with their competitors, suppliers and business partners.
- I use no employer information, tools, equipment or materials, and I work only outside my working hours. All benchmarks come from public sources and your own data.
- I do not coach or mentor colleagues from my employer or its group, and I do not coach candidates for roles there or discuss any employer's internal hiring process.
- I do not coach or mentor employees of my employer's competitors.
- I do not use or share any material from my employer.

Mentoring questions
How does the async part work?
You send questions whenever they come up, by email or a private chat channel. I answer the next business evening. Most months the async traffic matters more than the calls.
What if I need more than two calls in a month?
Tell me and we add a session at the single-session coaching rate. I would rather do that than pretend a fixed number of calls fits every month.
Can I pause?
Yes. Pause for a month and I hold your place. Pause longer and I may give the place to someone on the waitlist, because there are only six.
Does mentoring cover interview preparation?
Yes, when the move you're working toward includes an interview loop. One of the month's calls can be a timed system design prompt, scored on the same five signals as a coaching mock. If you have a single loop coming up in the next few weeks, coaching sessions are the better fit.
